What is Renovatus Kids?
Renovatus Kids is ministry geared toward those families who have children from birth through 5th grade. Our purpose is two-fold: to equip parents as the primary facilitators of their child's spiritual journey and to equip their kids to know, love and obey Jesus Christ. We accomplish this by offering unique, creative, fun-filled spaces that are driven by age-appropriate teaching.
We believe every child needs to love and be loved; to know and be known; to long for and be-longed for in their community of faith.
When and where is Renovatus Kids?
Renovatus Kids meets at the same time as the adult worship service. Renovatus Kids is held in the West Wing of Paw Creek Presbyterian Church, across from the building where the adults worship. Our greeters will be happy to point you in the right direction.
How do I check my kids in?
We open 30 minutes before each service begins. All children are checked-in regardless of age. While kids can be checked in up to 30 minutes before each service begins, children may only be dropped off at their room 15 minutes before the start of each service and once a leader has arrived. Each child will receive a name tag while the parent will receive a receipt, both with a matching security code. This code will be displayed on the screen in service if you are needed. If it's your first time, a brief registration card will be filled out. Pick up is the opposite: just hand your receipt to the room leader and you'll be on your way!
Who is caring for my child?
This ministry is staffed by screened volunteers who have received training specific to their age group.
What should we expect?
They (and you) should expect a combination of activities, games, worship, Bible-based teaching, snacks, liturgy, large groups and small groups. Our groups typically range in size from 5 to 12 kids depending on age.
